Surya Kuchimanchi is the Founder, Chairman & Managing Director of Suja HealthTech. He began in India as an engineer, with over a decade of leadership at GE and a strategic role at Bartronics in automation and robotics — a systems discipline that still shapes how he builds. That work expanded across the Middle East before scaling in the United States, where he turned it toward healthcare and built MedicsCloud and the legacy MedicsDocAssistant from the ground up, transforming both into industry-leading, multi-specialty platforms.

His focus on behavioral health, particularly inpatient and outpatient mental health workflows, placed those systems at the forefront of specialized care delivery, backed by full compliance lifecycle support across MIPS, MACRA, the 21st Century Cures Act, Surescripts eRx, EPCS, and more.

He has since brought that experience home to India with CareAxes and CureAxes, Suja's AI-powered hospital management platforms serving multi-specialty institutions and emerging smart hospitals alike. He has grown the company to more than 500 people, many of them leaders he mentored into the role and across both markets his focus stays the same: product innovation anchored in an operational foundation of implementation, training, high-touch support, and compliance that carries every deployment through to outcome.

Women's health is not a cause he supports. It is what he builds for. As a founding member of the LIG Global Foundation, he directs Suja's applied research toward cervical cancer — a disease that is largely preventable and still among the deadliest for women who live beyond the reach of screening. GYNEYE Women 360, and Virtualsteth, the software that powers it, put AI-assisted screening into the hands of frontline health workers, engineered to perform where the need is greatest and the infrastructure is thinnest.
