Every specialty has unique clinical documentation requirements. Ashoka needed a system that reflected the way its clinicians delivered care while supporting the specialized needs of child development and rehabilitation services.

CareAxes HMS was configured with customized Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) for Pediatrics (Autism) and Pain Management. Digital outpatient forms were also developed to capture patient assessments, developmental milestones, child activity tracking, family history, and other clinical information in a structured digital format. This enabled clinicians across all centers to document patient care using a consistent approach while supporting their specialty-specific workflows.

Simplifying Clinical Documentation with Suja AI Scribe

As part of the implementation, Ashoka introduced Suja AI Scribe to support everyday clinical documentation.

Doctors can dictate patient findings using a mobile device, and Suja AI Scribe automatically maps the information to the appropriate sections of the Electronic Medical Record. This allows clinicians to document patient encounters within their existing workflow while maintaining structured and complete clinical records.

Delivering a Structured Rollout Across 15 Centers

The implementation followed a phased rollout to support adoption across Ashoka’s growing network. Each phase included a one-day Zoom training session followed by production go-live the next day, helping clinical and operational teams transition to the new system with minimal disruption.

Results

The implementation established a connected digital platform across Ashoka’s rehabilitation centers while supporting specialty-specific clinical workflows and standardized documentation. Today, all 15 centers use CareAxes HMS to manage day-to-day clinical documentation and operational activities through a common digital platform.
